## Usenet Hierarchies

### [de-regio-infos](https://code.virtcomm.de/thh/de-regio-infos)

[**DE-Regio**](https://de-regio.de/) is a survey of German (language) regional
and local Usenet hierarchies.

This adds additional information to some hierarchies.

## Usenet Tools and Config

### [NewsStats](https://code.virtcomm.de/thh/newsstats/)

**NewsStats** is a software package
to extract live data from an INN newsfeed and generate statistics from it.

### [Usevote](https://code.virtcomm.de/thh/usevote/)

**UseVoteGer** is a voting software for usenet votes.

I'm not the maintainer, but keeping a repository with a customized version for
my own use as well as an `upstream` branch with the code as released. That
`upstream` branch also lives on [GitHub](https://github.com/th-h/usevote).

### [yapfaq](https://code.virtcomm.de/thh/yapfaq/)

**yapfaq** can post FAQs from text files to Usenet at configurable intervals and
automatically adds the necessary headers.

Some bits and pieces of INN config.

### [usestats](https://code.virtcomm.de/thh/usestats/)

**usestats** generates statistics about newsgroups by analysing existing
postings and creating various reports.

The **Checkbot** ("Automatic Article Checker") has been discontinued since 2005.

**checkmail** checks the validity or deliverability of an e-mail address.
