Usenet-Explorer stammt vom selben Autor wie der bis 2006 weiterentwickelte
NewsPro und ist in erster Linie auf den Umgang mit dem "binary Usenet"
ausgerichtet, d.h. auf die Nutzung als Filesharing-Client in Binärgruppen.
Er ist aber auch als konventioneller Newsreader, also zum Lesen und
Verfassen von Textbeiträgen in Diskussionsgruppen verwendbar.
Für 35 US-Dollar erhält man die aktuelle Version für 32- und 64bit-Windows
und ein Jahr lang kostenlose Updates sowie Zugriff auf einen externen
Index mit langer Haltezeit. Eine zwei Wochen lang nutzbare kostenlose
Testversion steht ebenfalls zur Verfügung.
